looks great, thanks for posting!

Try riding up this trail on your mountain bike...not for the faint-hearted, or out-of-shape! Where else can you burn 1400 calories, in under two hours?

Old info. The trailhead at Desert Drive is now closed. The only way to access the trail is now on Painter's Path in Palm Desert behind Target.

Does anyone know how many miles this trail is if you take the one behind target?

This is indeed, old info. The trailhead at Desert Drive has been closed for almost three years. There is no access from Magnesia Falls Drive, because of parking abuses on adjacent streets, the City of R.M., the CVWD, and the Sheriff's Dept. have restricted access and will issue zero tolerance trespassing citations. Official trailhead is off Painter's Path behind Target. The Rancho Mirage Community Association has been working with these agencies to stop illegal trespassing and parking abuse in our neighborhood.
